A New Way to Submit Crime Tips to the APD

The Airport Police Department (APD) has a new tool for fighting crime at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. It’s called TipSubmit.

Using either a website form or the free TipSubmit Android or iPhone app, anyone who believes he or she has information about criminal activity taking place on airport property can provide those details to the APD – anonymously. You can also provide crime tips any time of the day or night.

“Now that we have TipSubmit, airport employees can quickly and easily provide important details about possible criminal activity without concern of being identified by either the APD or the persons they are reporting," says Lt Keith Roediger.

To use TipSubmit, either download the FREE app at your Android or Apple app store (search Tipsubmit), or visit the APD TipSubmit website at https://tipsubmit.com/webtips.aspx?AgencyID=1245 and fill out the online form.

The information you provide will be sent via both text and email to a select few APD officers who will respond to the tip accordingly. If you choose, you can continue to have a back and forth discussion with an APD representative while your identity continues to be anonymous. A person can end the discussion at any time, as well as identify themselves at any time during the conversation.
