Walkway Workstations now open at Terminal 1-Lindbergh

Healthy living is at every turn at MSP from fresh and nutritious dining options to the 1.4-mile Terminal 1-Lindbergh walking loop and, now, with the installation of Walkway Workstations treadmill desks. Three stations have been installed: One in the Concourse F Service Center across from Gate F3 and two on Concourse C across from Fox News near Gate C12.

The stations are free to use, made possible by corporate sponsorships. They feature spacious desk space, a device charging station, and free Internet access. The maximum speed is 2.0 miles per hour—a comfortable pace to walk and work.

The simple act of walking produces amazing benefits—more than simply burning calories. A recent Stanford University study found that walking increased creativity levels by 60%. A University of Texas study found that 30 minutes of walking on a treadmill greatly enhanced the mood of study participants. And a study by our own University of Minnesota found that walking while working improved the quality and quantity of work, as well as the quality of interactions among colleagues.

Improve your health, productivity, and working relationships. Hop on a Walkway Workstation today!
