MSP Airport hosts sidewalk sale Oct. 12-18

Travelers passing through Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) Oct. 12–18 will experience serious savings at more than 20 airport retailers participating in MSP's seventh annual Soaring Savings Sidewalk Sale. The event corresponds with Education Minnesota conference week, a typically busy travel period at the airport.

"Guests, tenants and employees alike look forward to the airport sidewalk sale all year," said Liz Grzechowiak, assistant director of concessions and business development. "It lends a sense of festivity to the terminal and gives travelers a jump on the holiday shopping season."

Savings are abundant and include everything from apparel to electronics. Stock up on your favorite beauty products at The Body Shop in the Airport Mall, and score great tech deals at BluWire on concourses C and F. For the golf aficionado in your life, explore deep discounts at the PGA MSP pro-shop, and save on handcrafted local merchandise at Uptown Minnesota on Concourse G. And look for Minnesota souvenirs at every turn, celebrating our great state.

Many retailers offer shipping, so shoppers can ship any merchandise they can't carry. All participating retailers are inside the secure area at Terminal 1-Lindbergh. Only travelers with a boarding pass and badged employees are allowed to enter the secure area.
