Earlier this week, two additional stores at MSP – Minnesota! in Terminal 1-Lindbergh on Concourse D and Travel Express in Terminal 2-Humphrey – closed for renovations to accommodate new concepts.
Both stores will be transformed into news and convenience concepts with "Loring Park Essentials" opening in Minnesota!'s space and "L'etoile" in Travel Express' space in August.
These two new concepts are a part of a massive plan to update MSP, including the construction of 50 (with more to come) new restaurant and retail venues, renovating the ticketing and bag claim areas at Terminal 1, full remodels of nearly 100 sets of restrooms, four new gates at Terminal 2-Humphrey, a luxury airport hotel, and a new 5000-space parking ramp.
