MSP's employee portal (Portal 4) at Terminal 1-Lindbergh is scheduled to move on Oct. 11.
However, it won't be a big move. The portal will still be located on the Ticketing Level, but will occupy the space where former Checkpoint 3 was located. Known crew member entry – which is currently in that location – will move to the North Checkpoint exit stairs.
All processes and protocols will remain the same. Only the location will change. If traveling, employees must be screened by Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers at one of the standard checkpoints. Employees who currently must be screened at TSA security checkpoints should continue to use the standard checkpoints to enter the secure area.
Like the previous portal, the new portal can only be used for entering the secure area. To exit, the Airport Police Department recommends using the escalators or elevators from Ticketing to Bag Claim.
