Recent comings and goings at MSP

October is proving to be a busy month for MSP's Reimagined project, with 15 stores permanently closing to make way for new concepts. While several more walls have recently risen around the airport, others are coming down as several of the new in-coming concepts have opened for business. Below is a round-up of recent openings and closures.

Recent closures:

  • Simply Books on Concourse F in Terminal 1-Lindbergh closed in late September and will be transformed into Lolli & Pops, a confections store.
  • Harley Davidson in Terminal 1's Airport Mall closed its doors earlier this month and will be replaced with Kiehls – a beauty and skincare shop, set to open in late November.
  • The Body Shop, Everything ASAP, Gadgets to Go and Sports MN, formerly located in the northwest side of Terminal 1's Airport Mall, also closed in early October. These shops will be renovated to accommodate a gift shop, and a wine and cheese concept.

  • Sunglass Hut recently opened its new location on the southeast side of Terminal 1's Airport Mall. Like its previous location, the store will continue to carry an assortment of brand-name sunglasses, sunglass cases and excessories. Sunglass Hut is open daily from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Subway opened last week in Terminal 1's Airport Mall food court and is open daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
