Wings Financial Credit Union to relocate to Concourse C

The Wings Financial Credit Union branch located in the ticketing lobby of Terminal 1 is moving to Concourse C on Wednesday, Sept. 11.

Renovation work at the front of Terminal 1 and the queueing area for the South Security Checkpoint requires Wings' relocation.

The branch's new home is next to Gate C3 in a former workspace for business travelers. As many of the Wings members who use the branch are employees of the Metropolitan Airports Commission or the airlines, "the location is more convenient for our members who use this branch regularly" said Sylvia Zabel, Wings' branch manager at the MSP Airport location.

Members of the credit union who work inside Terminal 1 will no longer have to exit the secure side and return through a security checkpoint.

"Our history is aviation," Zabel added, "and being by a Delta gate is a good fit for us."

The existing branch closed on Thursday, Sept. 5 at 4 p.m., and the new branch on Concourse C is expected to open at 8 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 9.

The new location will have a personal teller, enabling members to have an interactive banking session with a live teller. The personal teller allows members to use a headset and a keypad to communicate privately, and the screen isn't visible to others in the area.

Personal teller service will be available from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. Branch staff will also be available during regular business hours, which are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

ATM services will be available at the branch 24/7.

Wings was founded in 1938 by seven airline employees, and has grown to become one of the nation's largest credit unions. There are 24 locations in Minnesota, and additional branches in four other states. For more information, please visit wingsfinancial.com. Wings Financial is federally insured by NCUA.
