Pianos on Parade brings music to MSP

piano

This summer, Keys 4/4 Kids is bringing art, music, and the community in St. Paul together. Twenty pianos have been placed throughout the city, each transformed by a local artist, all of them available for the public to play and enjoy.

One of those pianos (pictured above) was delivered to MSP Airport's Terminal 1-Lindbergh today.  “The Jazz Masters Dojo,” painted by artist Jesse Golfis, is on the baggage claim level near the central escalators. The piano will be at MSP through July 30.

Coordination of this project was made possible by the MSP Arts and Culture Program, a partnership between the Metropolitan Airports Commission and the Airport Foundation MSP.
