Concourse G keeps getting better

Several new restaurants and retail stores opened over the past months on the G Concourse at Terminal 1-Lindbergh.  Here’s a listing of what's new:

Local Brew —A must-stop for Minnesota beer lovers. Local Brew features gifts and apparel from many popular local brews such as Surly, Summit and Fulton. Located near Gate G15. 

Minnibar —An easygoing cafe offering a menu of globally inspired sandwiches. Chef Andrew Zimmern, renowned for his knowledge of world cuisine, oversees the  menu which features authentic global flavors combined with locally inspired ingredients. Located near Gate G4.

Twinburger — Twinburger, opening soon, is the product of a collaboration with Scott Nelson, owner of famed Matt's Bar, which is often credited with inventing the Jucy Lucy, a famous South Minneapolis cheeseburger that features cheese inside the meat patty rather than on top. Located near Gate G21.

Uptown MN —This shop features Minnesota-inspired merchandise that's designed, crafted and manufactured in the Midwest. Located near Gate G1, across from Subway.

Vero —Delivered by Pizzeria Lola chef and owner Ann Kim, Vero features thin-crust, artisanal pizzas. The individually sized pies are baked at nearly 700 degrees to create the perfect crunch. Kim's fresh twist on toppings will offer diners delicious combinations.  Located near Gate G13.

Volante —A modern Italian restaurant, Volante is overseen by Chef Doug Flicker, who is renowned for being able to take three seasonal ingredients and create a true Italian experience. Chef Flicker's own Piccolo restaurant has been recognized throughout the Twin Cities for its outstanding cuisine. Located near Gate G16.

World Bean — Minneapolis' own Dogwood Coffee Company is the premier micro-roaster and purveyor of coffee for Worldbean. Worldbean also features a seasonal assortment of whole-leaf teas. Bill Waddington, owner of TeaSource, selects the seasonal teas and helps guide the baristas on proper brewing techniques. Located near Gate G18.
