Big changes underway at MSP

Construction is underway at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP), and in the coming months, nearly 50 new shops, restaurants and other facilities will be taking shape throughout the Airport Mall and concourses.

As a result of the coming additions, several stores and restaurants at MSP have been permanently closed so their spaces can be renovated to accommodate the coming concepts.

This month, Chili’s Too, Duty Free, Subway and the Minnesota Store’s Airport Mall location closed permanently. Several new concepts will be filling these spaces, including Stone Arch – a restaurant with a wide selection of local craft beer, and an expanded duty free concept.

At this time, the Metropolitan Airports Commission cannot publish all of the concepts replacing these spaces. Under the Minnesota Data Practices Act, the MAC can only release details of the new concepts coming after their individual contracts have been finalized.
