Three stores at MSP close permanently to make room for new concepts

Three stores at MSP's Terminal 1-Lindbergh are scheduled to close permanently this week. The shops will be rennovated over the coming months to accommodate three of the nearly 50 new shops and restaurants coming to the airport.

  • Radio Road/Fly Babies, located in the Airport Mall, closed on Tuesday in preparation for the construction of Johnston & Murphy.
  • Grand Avenue, located in the Airport Mall, will close today after normal business hours for the construction of a new technology store.
  • Icescapes, located on Concourse E, will close after normal business hours on Thursday in preparation for the construction of Estes Twin Cities News.

All three new concepts are slated to open this summer.
