Two new concepts open at MSP

Roasting Plant and Estes Twin Cities News were added to the growing list of new shops and restaurants at MSP this week.

Located at the end of Concourse E in Terminal 1-Lindbergh, Roasting Plant offers fresh-brewed coffee as well as a variety of pastries, salads and sandwiches. In addition to coffee and food, Roasting Plant is a source of entertainment for travelers, too. Stop by to check out the concept's unique "Javabot" that roasts, grinds and brews each customer's choice of beans and delivers one fresh cup at a time to the barista waiting behind the pick-up counter.

Estes Twin Cities News opened a new location in Terminal 1 near Gate A1 on Monday. The convenience and news store will carry magazines, books, snacks, and a limited assortment of electronics, beverages, and gift items.

These two openings are part of 50 new concepts coming to MSP through a massive renovation project, including updating the Ticketing and Bag Claim areas at Terminal 1, full remodels of nearly 100 sets of restrooms, four new gates at Terminal 2-Humphrey, a luxury airport hotel, and a new 5000-space parking ramp.
