COVID-19 testing site opens at MSP’s Terminal 1

A COVID-19 testing site opened Thursday (Nov. 12) at MSP Airport's (MSP) Terminal 1 that is available to all members of the public, including MSP and MAC employees.

The site, which uses saliva tests and delivers results in 24 to 48 hours, expands the testing options for Minnesotans. The state of Minnesota and the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) partnered to provide the MSP testing site.

The tests offered at the airport location are not tied to any requirements for accessing air travel – the site simply expands the state's testing capacity in a convenient location for residents in the Twin Cities metro area.

The testing is free and does not require an ID or insurance. If you do have insurance, bring your card, as the state will try to recover costs from the insurer, if possible.

The testing site is located in the lobby area on Level 2 of the Blue Ramp at Terminal 1. Reservations are encouraged but walk-ins are welcome with no appointment.
