With a winter storm set to drop between two and four inches of snow in the Twin Cities on Tuesday (Nov. 10), what better way to usher in "Winter Hazard Awareness Week," which began Monday and continues through Friday (Nov. 13).
The information campaign, which is orchestrated by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety (DPS) in collaboration with the National Weather Service and other state, federal, and non-profit agencies, is designed to help Minnesotans minimize the risks of winter.
Each day this week is dedicated to a specific theme:
