Focus on teens and families to get vaccinated

While the MSP vaccination clinic is closed until airport employees can get their second shot on May 19 or 21, the Mall of America vaccination clinic and others are open for people and their families to get vaccinated.

Beginning March 30, all Minnesotans 16 and older are eligible to receive a vaccine. This week – between April 27 and May 1 – the “Roll Up Your Sleeves, MN” vaccine outreach campaign is focusing on Minnesotans aged 16 and 17 (and their parents).

This group is being prioritized for vaccines at Minnesota’s Mall of America Community Vaccination site. Click below to register for your appointment at the Mall of America:

The Pfizer vaccine is ONLY vaccine that has been authorized for people as young as 16 and up.

In Greater Minnesota, go to the CDC’s Vaccine Finder to schedule an appointment at a pharmacy near you or sign up on Minnesota’s COVID Vaccine Connector to receive more information about vaccine opportunities.

The Roll Up Your Sleeves, Teens push comes at a critical time as Minnesota is seeing a significant increase in COVID-19 cases, especially among younger Minnesotans.

Part of the solution to lowering community spread is ensuring that our teens who can get vaccinated DO GET VACCINATED! And those who can’t, GET TESTED!

Two COVID-19 testing sites remain open at MSP Airport – one is free on Level 2 of the Blue Ramp at Terminal 1 with results within 48 hours and the other costs between $99 and $149 and is on Concourse F with results in 30 minutes.

Protect your family and community. Do your part and get vaccinated today!
