Get vaccinated and win prizes

The state of Minnesota is making it easier than ever for more Minnesotans 18 and older to get vaccinated – and possibly get rewarded in the process from a choice of options that includes state park passes, fishing licenses and Minnesota State Fair tickets.

A free COVID-19 community vaccine clinic at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds opened Wednesday (May 26) and will remain open through June 8. The clinic will administer the single dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

On Thursday (May 27), Gov. Tim Walz also announced that the first 100,000 Minnesotans who get their first shot between May 27 and June 30 will get to choose from a wide range of options. Tickets to Valleyfair and the Minnesota Zoo are also among the options, as is a $25 Visa card.
