‘Coffee with a Cop’ at MSP’s Terminal 2 on Oct. 20

The MSP Airport Police Department (APD) will be holding Coffee with a Cop on Wednesday, Oct. 20, at Terminal 2.

Officers from the APD will be at Gate H8 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to have open, distraction-free conversations with MSP Airport employees. This event is hosted by Sun Country Airlines and Caribou Coffee.

All MSP Airport employees are invited to attend this open house event to talk with members of the APD about what matters to them, including any topics or questions they have about the airport or their community. Coffee will be provided for those who attend.

Coffee with a Cop is a national program whose mission is to improve trust and build relationships, one cup of coffee at a time. The events provide an opportunity to bring law enforcement officers and MSP Employees together and remove any physical or psychological barriers.

The event at Terminal 2 on Oct. 20 will be the third Coffee with a Cop held at MSP by the APD. Earlier events were held at Terminal 1 on June 30 and July 28.

If you are interested in hosting or partnering with the Coffee with a Cop program for future events, please reach out to Lieutenant for the Airport Police Department, Jason Erickson Jason.Erickson@mspmac.org or MAC Event Coordinator, Abby Brownell Abby.Brownell@mspmac.org.
