Settebello Pizza opens on the mall at Terminal 1

Settebello, a restaurant featuring Neapolitan pizza and other Italian dishes, recently opened at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport on Terminal 1's mall.

Offering sit-down dining, a full bar and a fast-and-efficient grab-and-go option, Settebello meets the needs of a traveler on any schedule.

Settebello bakes its 10-inch pizzas in a stone oven brought from Italy. The oven was cured at MSP over a five-day period with progressively higher temperatures and is now baking pizzas at 800 degrees in about 90 seconds.

The light, airy Neapolitan-style pizza crusts come with a variety of topping options, including mozzarella cheese imported from Italy. The Bare N'Duja pizza features a light dripping of local honey produced in Minnesota. A gluten-free crust is also available. The Settebello menu is full of Italian deliciousness, with bruschetta, cheese boards and desserts including tiramisu.

"We know that time is of the essence for airport customers, and our oven keeps us on pace without compromising quality," said Mark Rimkus, vice president of operations for The Grove, Inc., the concessionaire that brought Settebello to MSP. "We're eager to serve MSP passengers."

Local suppliers to Settebello include Red Table Meat Co., Red Bear Provisions, Red Barn Family Farms, Alemar Cheese and Ames Farm honey.  Local beers available include Surly, Summit, Fair State, Fulton and Finnegan's.

Settebello is open daily at MSP from 10:30 a.m. until 9 p.m.
