More than 150 MSP Airport employees attended the grand opening of the MSP Nice Employee Lounge at Terminal 2 on Friday, Nov. 18.
"It was a tremendous turnout," said Katlyn Schenck, a customer program specialist with the Metropolitan Airports Commission who helps coordinate the Customer Service Action Council (CSAC).
The MSP Nice Employee Lounge is the third employee lounge at MSP but the first one at Terminal 2. The other lounges are at Terminal 1 on the lower level of Concourse C between Gates C15 and C16 and on Concourse G near Gate G18.
The lounge is located across from Gate H3 on the main level at Terminal 2 (Door No. HT-2105.01) and offers comfortable seating, free WiFi, vending outlets and a microwave for airport employees.
Free coffee from Caribou Coffee, appetizers from Cocina del Barrio and a cake from Sun Country Airlines were served at the grand opening. The lounge is for MSP employees only and you need your badge to enter.
