**Beginning July 27, 2015, badgeholders who present EXPIRED badges to the Badging Office must be fingerprinted, and wait 2-3 weeks for fingerprint results before a new

badge is issued.**

You no longer need to hang around the badging lobby waiting for your number to be called. Now you can join the badging queue from anywhere by texting mspbadging to 612-294-7739 or by clicking on the button below. Shortly before it’s your turn to be served, you will be sent a text alert to your mobile phone. Make sure to use a phone that you will keep with you because you will be texted when it's your turn. (You can also join the queue at the badging office by using the kiosk in the lobby.) Appointments take priority, it is strongly suggested that you make an appointment for badging services.

Cash, Check or Credit Cards - checks should be made payable to MAC (Metropolitan Airports Commission) 
* Companies with contracts that are less than 90 days will be required to pay cash or check at the time of service.
** CONTRACTORS: Failure to return a contractor badge to the Badging Office within 30 days of the badge expiration date will result in the assessment of a $200 fee which may be deducted, at MAC’s convenience, against the contractor fee. *CHANGES TO CONTRACTOR DEPOSIT FEES: NO LONGER COLLECTING AS OF MARCH 15TH 2018. NON RETURNED BADGE FEE WILL APPLY. Contractor badge refunds will be processed as badges are renewed or returned within 30 days. All contractor badges with no deposit will be subject to the 10 day badge return policy.
** LOST BADGE: If a lost badge is recovered and returned within 30 days of badge expiration, a refund for the replacement fee minus $30 will be issued by mail.
**NON-RETURN BADGE FEE: This is a non-refundable fee charged to companies that fail to return a badge within 10 days of the deactivation date. 
**DEAD FILE FEE: Companies will be billed a $10 administrative fee for "dead filing" badge applications.  Dead filing is a term used for canceling or stopping a badge application process for an applicant that has begun the background check process.  This includes applicants that fail to pick up a badge within 30 days of clearing the background check.
