Concourse Passes

The Badging Office does not issue Concourse Passes

 

Concourse Access Passes or CAPs can be requested through your company representative. If you don’t know who that is in your company, check with your manager or supervisor. Here are some rules about CAPS:

A Concourse Access Pass will not be provided to:

  • Any person that has forgotten or lost his/her MSP badge.
  • Any person who has an expired MSP badge.
  • Any person that is in the process of obtaining a badge (have been fingerprinted, but have not received their badge.)
  • Any taxicab driver that does not have his/her assigned MAC Taxicab Drivers License with him/her or is in the process of obtaining one

Any person picking up a CAP must provide a valid, government issued, photo identification.  A driver’s license is the most common form of identification accepted.

Please make every attempt to request a CAP between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m.  After 8 p.m. there is no guarantee the email will be opened, thus our customer(s) will be delayed in getting his/her CAP.

A CAP can be picked up on the following days and times:*

  • Sunday: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Monday thru Friday: 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Saturday: No CAPS**

**If a CAP is needed on a Saturday it must be requested for and processed on Friday. A CAP will not available on Saturday unless it has been prearranged.

  • The security checks require a customer to provide his/her full first, middle, last name and date of birth as it appears on their identification.
  • We strongly encourage you to minimize requests to only those persons who must enter the sterile area.  Due to limited staff and hours please make every attempt to conduct this type of access Monday-Friday between 6 a.m. and
    8 p.m.
  • When requesting a CAP, please make sure you are only asking for the people you know who will be showing up and for the specific times you expect them to be here.  Do not request passes for people that “may” be coming to the Airport.
  • CAP requests for people at a specific time will only be distributed 30-minutes prior to the time you have provided and one (1) hour after the time provided.  If the customer does not show up within this hour and a half window he/she may not be issued a CAP.
  • A CAP is valid for 24-hours and can be used several times throughout the day ending 24-hours after the date and time on the CAP.  Copies will not be accepted at the Check-points and are considered security violations.
  • Please don’t tell someone they can simply go to the Information Booth to pick up a CAP without prior notice to staff, as they will be denied access.

Exceptions

  • Customers wishing to attend public meetings and public hearings need to go to the Tram Level Information Booth with their valid, government issued, photo identification and state what meeting they are here for.
