Concourse G welcomes four new restaurants

The first permanent concepts of the Concourse G remodel are now open.

Run by Delta’s concessionaire, OTG, the restaurants include: Volante - based on the Minneapolis restaurant Piccolo, Volante features a modern Italian menu developed by Chef Doug Flicker.  MinniBar – an upscale sandwich bar with a menu designed by celebrity chef/host Andrew Zimmern; Mimosa – a French country eatery and raw-bar with Chef Russell Klein of Saint Paul’s Meritage; and Shoyu – a modern Japanese restaurant inspired by local restaurant Tanpopo's with Chef Koshiko Yonemura.

Unique to these restaurants is the ability to order meals via an iPad at every seat. The iPads, which feature stunning photography of all menu items, are also used to complete the order via a card reader integrated into the seating.

The iPads also allow customers to easily browse their Facebook, Twitter and personal email accounts. Customers can also check their flight status, play games and watch the news through pre-loaded apps, all at no charge.

Personal information is securely removed the moment a customer hits the home button or after two minutes of idle time.

Other highly appreciated amenities include dual power and USB charging ports at each table.
