Lend your voice to MSP Airport’s trams, moving walkways and more

Those calm, clear announcements on trams, baggage carousels and parking ramps sound familiar for a reason. They come from MSP Airport employees and volunteers who stepped up to the microphone.

The MAC is looking for the next group of voices to record the announcements travelers hear every day. Auditions for Voices of MSP 2027 are open now and due Friday, Nov. 27.  

All MSP badge-holders and airline personnel can apply, along with airport volunteers. No professional experience is needed.

How to audition

You can record on your own time, with no studio visit required.

1. Visit bit.ly/VoicesMSP2027 to create a Submittable account.
2. Find the sample script for the 3-1-1 message and tips for making a good recording.
3. Record your audition. A phone voice memo works.
4. Attach the audio file to your application and submit it.

Applicants will hear in January whether they were selected. The program records in the MAC’s on-site audio studio.
