Cart Driver Training

Although cart training is completed by the employer, the Airport Police hold classroom training to ensure the understanding of Ordinance 113: Electric Carts. Additionally, the Cart Operator's Permit Application must be completed by the employee and employer then delivered to the Police Administration Office, located on the Mezzanine level above Portal 3. Employees should present the application along with a valid driver's license before the application due date. The employee must bring these documents to the Police Administration Office in person.

  • The fee for an employee to receive a cart seal is $40.
  • The fee for the annual cart inspection is $70.
  • Both fees will be processed by the badging office. Invoicing, cash, check and credit cards are all accepted payment methods. 

2019 CART CLASS SCHEDULE 

Classes are located on the fourth floor of the common area between Terminal 1-Lindbergh's Red and Blue parking ramps (below the Badging Office) and start promptly at 3:15 p.m. It is recommended that applicants show up 15 minutes early.
