       EFFECTIVE MONDAY, JULY 27, 2015

A NEW TSA REGULATION REQUIRES FINGERPRINT-BASED CRIMINAL HISTORY CHECKS EVERY TWO YEARS FOR THOSE WITH AIRPORT ISSUED SECURITY IDENTIFICATION.

DON'T LET YOUR BADGE EXPIRE! 

Badge holders who present EXPIRED badges to the Badging Office after July 26, 2015 MUST BE FINGERPRINTED, and WAIT for fingerprint results to clear BEFORE a new badge can be issued.

       Welcome to the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport Badging Office.

Welcome to the Land of 10,000 Lakes! Minneapolis-St. Paul is home to the Minnesota Twins, the Vikings and the Mall of America.  As it stands, our airport has welcomed 33,892,074 passengers in 2013, with hopes of welcoming many more in the future.  Keeping MSP running is a big job, and the Metropolitan Airports Commission is the authority that runs our airport.  There are 15 commercial passenger airlines that serve MSP as well as many wonderful and unique shops and restaurants. We have thousands of employees from all over the world who staff our airport in different capacities.  The Badging Office provides badges to those 17,000 plus employees under the Airport Police Departments direction.
