Travel Leaders survey ranks MSP among top U.S. airports

Travel Leaders Group revealed Tuesday specific airport data from its annual Travel Trends Survey.  Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) ranks second in three categories: amenities, dining, and for helping to keep kids entertained and occupied.

Based on a nationwide survey conducted Nov. 19 – Dec.16, 2012, Atlanta ranks as the top preferred domestic airport if clients have a connecting flight, while Chicago O’Hare ranks as the top domestic airport to avoid if making a connection. Atlanta’s Hartsfield–Jackson also was identified as the top airport for amenities, dining and providing the best services for business travelers.

These findings are based on responses from 930 Travel Leaders Group owners, managers and frontline travel experts throughout the United States who indicated that they book air travel for their clients.
