Vote for Zita now in the TSA's Cutest Canine contest

Editor's note, Aug. 23, 2023: It's a doggone shame to share that Zita did not make it to the second round of voting, but we hear she's handling the news pawsitively.

One of MSP's own needs your vote!

Zita, a German Shorthair doggo who works for the TSA at MSP as a Passenger Screening Canine specialist, has advanced to the top four of this year's TSA Cutest Canine competition.

The contest is now at the public voting stage, narrowed down from 92 original submissions. Voting starts today, Aug. 21. If you want Zita to potentially enjoy some attention from the pup-arazzi in the weeks ahead, you'll need to jump on social media and cast your vote.

You can vote by visiting the TSA on X (@TSA), formerly known as Twitter, Instagram or Facebook stories. A quick visit to the various sites indicates the Twitter-voting interface is the most user-friendly. The polls are open through Thursday, Aug. 24 at noon Central Time.

A win for Zita would be a repeat, as MSP's EEbbers was the Cutest Canine last year.

Raise the woof for Zita and vote today!
