MSP seeking businesses for Terminal 1 concessions redevelopment

MSP seeking businesses for Terminal 1 concessions redevelopment

The MAC is launching the first major redevelopment of Terminal 1 concessions at MSP Airport in nearly a decade.

This summer, the MAC will release a request for proposals (RFP) that will include more than 45 food, beverage and retail spaces across Terminal 1. In preparation for the RFP release, the MAC is hosting a series of information sessions designed to help local and small business owners understand the RFP process, learn what is involved in operating at MSP, and get an overview of the MAC’s small business program.

“The MAC is proud of its strong partnerships with local entrepreneurs, and we’re committed to expanding opportunities for homegrown businesses to thrive at MSP, which serves more than 36 million travelers each year,” said Isabella Rhawie, MAC vice president and commercial revenue officer. “This is a prime opportunity for Minnesota-based small and emerging businesses to broaden their reach within an award-winning concessions program at one of the nation’s largest airports.”

Virtual informational sessions:

  • Wednesday, March 25, 2-3 p.m. Central
  • Wednesday, April 22, 2-3 p.m. Central

In-person information session:

  • Thursday, April 2, 1-3 p.m. Central at the MAC General Offices Building (6040 S. 28th Ave., Minneapolis, MN 55450)
