Rental car entrance detour: June 29-July 19

A temporary operational change will impact Terminal 1 rental car access. From June 29 through July 19, the rental car entrance and helix (spiral ramp structure between floors) will be closed to support construction. 

Car rental returns: 

• The rental car entrance will be closed for three weeks (June 29 through July 19). 
• Rental car returns will be redirected to the Silver Ramp entrance. Drivers should follow overhead signage, which will be updated to guide them to the temporary access. The turn into the Silver Ramp will be a hard left, clearly marked with directional signs. 
• Once inside, each level is designated for a specific rental car agency, as usual. The process for returning vehicles remains largely unchanged after entering the Silver Ramp. 

Parking guidance at the Silver Ramp: 

• The Silver Ramp will remain open to public and employee parking while the temporary rental return access is in place. 
• All parking (public and employee) will enter through the general parking plaza, then branch off to the desired ramp. If a ramp is full, signage will direct drivers to crossover bridges for additional parking in the Silver Ramp (levels 6-9). 
• Temporary signs will be in place to minimize confusion. 
• Employees with a transponder will follow their usual exiting process (exiting through the Zip pass lane).
