TSA launches ConfirmID on Feb. 1

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is rolling out a new process to give travelers without a REAL ID-compliant form of identification a new option to fly, involving a $45 fee.

The fee-based option, called ConfirmID, starts Sunday, Feb. 1.

With this new program, the MAC has updated its guidance for members of the public attending a commission meeting.
