This past Saturday (Dec. 17), Great Lakes Airlines started service from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport to Devil’s Lake, N.D. twice daily with B1900 aircraft. They will operate on gate E15 and eventually E11 and E13 via sublease with Delta.
Service will eventually increase to more than 30 daily departures in early 2012 by providing service to various cities in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa and Michigan.
Ticket counter functions will initially be accommodated by Delta at Delta special services just north of Checkpoint 5. Long term ticket counter locations will be determined at a later date.
Baggage Claim carousel assignments will be primarily #14, and occasionally #13. Baggage for Great Lakes Airlines will be handled by Regional Elite.
