MINNEAPOLIS-ST.PAUL – The Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) is thrilled with Pinnacle Airlines’ decision today to move its headquarters to Minnesota.
“The Metropolitan Airports Commission has worked closely with Governor Dayton, the Department of Employment and Economic Development, and Greater MSP to ensure that Minnesota offers the best path forward for Pinnacle Airlines as it emerges from bankruptcy and looks toward the future,” said MAC Chairman Dan Boivin. “Relocating a headquarters operation is never easy for any organization, but I believe Pinnacle will find Minnesota a place where the airline, its employees and their families can grow and thrive.”
Jeff Hamiel, executive director and chief executive officer of the MAC, also noted Pinnacle’s history at the Minneapolis- St. Paul International Airport saying, “Through its affiliation with Delta Air Lines and its acquisition of Minnesota-based Mesaba Airlines, Pinnacle has long played a key role in transporting travelers to and from MSP Airport. We are pleased and excited to welcome Pinnacle Airlines as it transitions its headquarters to its new home at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.”
