Update on TSA checkpoint staffing at MSP Airport

As spring break travel continues at MSP Airport, ensuring a smooth experience for travelers remains a top priority. We’re closely monitoring staffing and wait times at security checkpoints. 

The Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) is not aware of any planned changes for security checkpoint staffing at MSP at this time.  

During the partial government shutdown, TSA checkpoint wait times have consistently remained under 30 minutes at MSP Airport, despite heavy spring break travel. The relatively low wait times are a testament to the commitment of the local TSA team. We're grateful for the TSA’s continued service to maintain smooth and secure travel for MSP passengers.
